Philadelphia gamers getting a double-dose this year

Looking for something to do this weekend? Do you live on the East Coast? Can you get to Philadelphia? Well, you're in luck, because the 5th Video Game Expo in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania starts this weekend, October 9.

The VGXPO is set to be even bigger than ever this year with 3 days jam-packed full of gaming. Play the newest games, talk to developers and other industry insiders and celebrate gaming with all your friends. Pay homage to the classics at Retro Con, get your anime fix at the Anime-Game Festival, check out the expo hall floor, attend workshops and meet some familiar faces in the sci-fi/wrestling/gaming world.

But wait, because October's got a double-feature of gaming goodness coming your way with The Philadelphia GameX Expo October 23-25. That's just two weeks after VGXPO, so try your best to recover in time if you want to hit both shows.

Although it's a shame the two shows aren't spread a little further apart, it's great to think gaming has become so big that not just one show will do. So, if you live in the area, why not head out and have some fun? There's sure be something for every kind of gamer out there and no reason not to attend both, if you can.
